

Dorothy M. Lorr, age 98, went peacefully to her heavenly home with her children at her bedside. Born in Chicago, Illinois. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur G. Lorr Sr. and brother, George. Survived by children, Susan R. Lynch (John), Arthur G. Lorr Jr. (Elizabeth-deceased), Margaret A. Hall, Maribeth D. Grywalski (Tim), David J. Lorr (Betsy), Michael J. Lorr (Pamela Hill). Blessed with 17 grandchildren and 27great-grandchildren. Former member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Rosary Altar Society, St. Charles Preparatory High School and Bishop Watterson High School Mother’s Clubs, St. Mathias Parish Melonaires, St. Andrew Parish Women’s Club. Lifetime Volunteer at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout den mother and for many years volunteered for the Board of Elections as a Presiding Judge. Her lifelong loves were faith, family, sewing, knitting and cross-word puzzles. Her favorite phrase “Tempus Fugit”. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to National Church Residences Hospice, 2245 North Bank Dr. Columbus, Ohio 43230. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Rd. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, OH.
