Dorothy M McLucas

Dorothy M. McLucas, age 86, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. She was born to the late Michael and Lily Preshok on February 15, 1928 in Wilcox, PA. Dorothy volunteered at St. Ann's Hospital for many years. She loved crocheting, traveling, shopping, puzzles, reading, and cooking. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was supportive of her children's and grandchildren's music and sporting activities. She followed her son, Gary's music career, as he was a member of Drum Corps. She loved attending parades and competitions. She had a great sense of humor and a warm loving heart. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Bud" McLucas; son, Michael McLucas; and sister, Marian Flagella. She is survived by her son, Gary (Sheri) McLucas; and daughter, Kathy (Alan) Wood; grandchildren, Stephen, Kyle, Brian, Kelly, Shawn, Lauren, and Patrick; several great-grandchildren; sister, Melverta Nicotra of Erie, PA; several special nieces and nephews; special granddog, Roxxie; and special friends and caring staff at The Village at Westerville and Heartland of Uptown Westerville. A Memorial Service will be privately held in Erie, Pennsylvania for Dorothy.
