Dorothy Louise Purdum

Dorothy (Dottie) Purdum, age 91, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on 02/15/2020. Dottie devoted her life to her husband Bob and their children. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on 08/18/2019. Their love for each other was an inspiration to all.

Predeceased by her husband, Robert Allen Purdum Sr., son Robert Allen Purdum Jr., brother Thomas Dow Barratt of Houston, TX., and grandson Thomas Allen Buck, brothers in-law Jack, Warren, and John Purdum, sisters-in-law Gay (Raymond) Harsh, Mary (Allan) Renner, Edith (Thomas) Barratt and Betty (Warren) Purdum.

Survived by daughter Pamela Dee Buck, son-in-law Robert V. Buck, brother-in-law George Purdum; sisters-in-law, Rosemary (Jack), Winona (John), and Hazel (George) Purdum; Dorothy (Rogene) Lehman, Irene (Bernie) Bernier, Kathleen (Marvin) Yutzy, Ruth (Bob) Manns, and Rose (Bob) Holycross; grandchildren Barbara (Brian) Sloan, Brian (Jody) Buck, and Julia (Julian) Sangster; great grandchildren Dustin and Tanner Sloan, Dorothy and Rosetta Buck, and Jack and Jamie Sangster.

A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, February 27th at 10:00 AM at Riverside United Methodist Church, 2701 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, OH 43221. Private interment will occur at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave. Cols. OH. 43223. Contributions appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
