

Dot Snyder, age 93, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2012 at Columbus Healthcare Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born March 15, 1919 in Harper, West Virginia to the late Harrison and Ora (Carte) Nottingham; also preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Snyder; son, James Lawrence Snyder; 11 brothers and sisters; and brother-in-law, Jack Boden. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol Little Triplett and James Triplett of Churchville, Maryland; grandchildren, Steven Solonka, Eugenia Almacy, Eugene Solonka, Jenny Solonka, James E. Solonka, William Little, Jamie DeLong and Jimmy Snyder; 31 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her caregiver and guardian angel, Jeff DeLong. Dot was the perfect “Susie Homemaker” and an excellent cook; always making sure that family and friends had enough to eat. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene and taught Sunday school for 40 years. Above all, she loved her family and her Lord. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Monday, June 11, 2012 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 E. Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where family and friends may call from 12-1pm; Rev. Kenneth D. Ellis, officiating; Interment in Obetz Cemetery.
