Douglas W. Evans

Douglas W. Evans, 72, of Westerville OH, passed away on March 22, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on January 28, 1947 to Raymond and Ivory (Limings) Evans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Nora Limings (Aunt) and Curt Limings (Uncle).

Doug attended Ohio University and was a proud member of the Ohio University Marching 110. Doug enjoyed playing golf in his spare time, coaching and refereeing games, and loved watching his sons and grandchildren play sports. He loved his dog Sadie and all of his Granddogs.

Doug's loss will be deeply felt by his wife of 44 years, Deborah (Stacy) Evans; sons Andy (Heather) Evans and Dan (Leala) Evans; grandchildren Drew and Abby Evans.

A funeral service celebrating Doug's life will be held at 3pm Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street. His family will receive friends following the service from 4-6pm.
