Douglas F. Morrison

Douglas was born March 24, 1930 in Bexley, Ohio, to Peter and Helene Morrison.

He met the love of his life, Helen Grace Mogan, at Jeffrey Manufacturing Company, where they both worked. On September 26, 1953, Helen was given in marriage to Douglas by her father, Wayne G. Mogan. Doug and Helen were blessed with six (6) children; a daughter, Rebecca Ann, and five (5) sons; Douglas Jr., J. David, Kenneth, Ron and Timothy.

Further, God blessed them with nineteen grandchildren; i.e.; Chris Million, Stephen Million, Colleen Childkneckt, Amy Benavidez, Melanie Richter, Peter Morrison, Niccole Morrison, Ann Morrison, Samantha Morrison, Amy Hall, Brittney Hall, Ron D. Morrison, Jr., Kevin Morrison, Heather Shankle, Halen Louro, Kaleigh Morrison, Gavin Morrison, Jameson Morrison, Harley Morrison.

Great grandchildren include; Eleanor Million, Louise Million, James Godfrey, Rylie Schildknecht, Caleb Schildknecht Izabella Benavidez, Bennie Benavidez, Payton Caldwell (deceased), Kaleb Richter, Lucas Richter, Aidan and Jocelyn Morrison, Zoey Thompson, Christian grajales, Ezekiel grajales, Gabriella grajales, Jace Hart, baby Louro, baby Van.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Peter, his mother, Helene, his sisters, Faith and Jean and brother, Peter.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, his six children, Rebecca, Doug Jr., J. David (Tammy), Kenneth (Cari), Ron (Leslie), Timothy (Elizabeth) as well as his sister, Gail Rhonehouse (Larry), 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home at 151 E. Main Street in Circleville, Ohio from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 23, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 134 West Mound Street, Circleville, OH 43113 with burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137
