Duane Edward Moore

Duane E. Moore, age 43, of Grove City, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 10, 2011, at home. He was born May 11, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio to Garrett H. Moore, Jr. and Ethel (Martin) Moore. He was a 1984 graduate of Westland High School and a member of Pleasantview Baptist Church. Duane was fortunate in that he worked in a profession that he truly enjoyed for almost 25 years, with Robin Enterprises, alongside people who were more than co-workers; they were friends. Duane had a strong work ethic and took great pride in his accomplishments. Above all, he will be remembered as a family man. He was a loving husband to his wife, Jamie Lynn (Fisher) Moore; proud father of Anthony (Jennifer), Jordan, Samantha and Morgan. He truly loved his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Caleb and Oakley. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Ethel Moore; brothers, Randy (Patricia) Moore, David (Nora) Moore; sisters, Katie and Sandy Carter; father-in-law, James Fisher, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Telisa Jarrell, Treena (Thomas) Hall, Dawn Mays; brother-in-law, James (Beverly) Fisher, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Garrett Moore, Jr. and mother-in-law, Delores Fisher. Family will receive friends 1-3 and 5-7pm Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 E. Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where services will begin at 6:30pm; Pastor Curtis Sheets, officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Pleasantview Baptist Church, 2485 Gantz Rd., Grove City, OH 43123 in Duane’s memory.
