Earl R. Baker

Earl Romero Baker, age 54, was born on May 23, 1969 and passed away peacefully on Friday, May 26, 2023. He graduated from Eastmoor High School and attended Franklin University. Earl attended Sigsbee Avenue Church of God during his early years. Earl Romero was a loving soul with a big heart. He loved his family so, so much, especially his son, brother, mom, aunts and cousins. He loved to cook. He was often called the “crock pot chef”. He is survived by loving son, Unique R. Baker; mother, Valerie Baker; brother, Ryan K. Baker; devoted aunts and uncles, Donna and Daryl Cummings, Richard and De Lois Perry, Marvin Mix; loving nephew, Ryan Kristopher Baker; special cousins, Melvin, Michelle, Retta, Stephanie, Stephen and India; childhood friend, Alex (Tae) McEntire. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl T. Baker; his grandparents, Alice and Robert Moorehead; Eloise Bridges Baker and Earl T. Baker Sr.; his aunt LuCinda Mix and his grandson Stone Baker. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232, where family and friends may gather from 12:00 noon-1:00 pm Saturday. Pastor Greg Cumberland officiating.
