

Edmund L. Wagoner, age 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 4, 2010. He was born in Racine, WI on November 2, 1929 to the late Harold and Louise Wagoner. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Marquette University in Wisconsin. He was also a proud US Navy veteran during the Korean War serving onboard the destroyer USS Jarvis DD 799. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and a life long member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired as owner and president of Wagoner Machinery in 1994. Edmund enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children. He was very devoted to his family and his gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joan. He is also survived by his sons, Lee (Josefina Grau), Paul (Terri), Tom (Diana); daughter, Susan; and grandchildren, Eddie III (Alana), Rudy, Stephanie, Rebecca, Katie, Nicole, Christine (Tim) Aranyos, and Andrea Sagar.
Friends may call Monday, June 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at St. Andrew Catholic Church where he was a parishioner for 44 years, 1899 McCoy Road, Columbus, Ohio.
