

Edward (Ed) Vincent Kuehnle passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 21St. Ed was born April 4th 1951 in Cincinnati to Theresa (Barrometti) Kuehnle and Edward James Kuehnle. He graduated from Cincinnati LaSalle High School in 1969 and the University of Cincinnati in 1976.
Ed was a Vietnam veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1970 -1971. He worked for 28 years for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in the Division of Geological Survey, retiring in December of 2012. Ed married Charlene Bott in 1988 and they have one child, Edward (Eddie).
Ed was very proud of his Italian/Sicilian heritage and shared that love and pride with all of his family. Ed also loved music, playing guitar and singing. He recently won first
place at a local senior talent show. He passed that gift on to his son Eddie, a talented musician who treasures the times they played together. Ed had many interests including a love of antique cars, participating in the Columbus Good Guys Car Show and rebuilding an old '55 Chevy. He also loved many sports, especially baseball.
Ed is predeceased by his parents Edward and Theresa. He is survived by his loving wife Charlene, devoted son Eddie (Bailey), caring sisters, Carolyn (Charles) Schatzman, Clarissa (Paul) Millner, Julie Kuehnle and Josephine "Pepe" (Joseph) Squeri, Matilda Kolesza, Elizabeth (Thomas) Hawley, Loretta (Bill) Riesbeck, and many nephews and nieces.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street in Worthington, where a Prayer Vigil will be held at 5 p.m. that evening. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am, Monday, January 27, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 N. High Street in Worthington. A loving cremation will follow the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society with St. Michael Catholic Church (please make checks payable to the St. Vincent DePaul Society) in his memory.
