

Edward J. Noble Jr. MD, age 80, of Grove City, passed away Monday March 11, 2013 at Monterey Nursing Care Center. He was born on July 7, 1932 to the late Edward J. Noble Sr. and May Noble. May passed when he was a teenage, also preceded in death by stepmother, Alice Noble. He is survived by wife, of 56 years, Rosemary Grossman-Noble; son, Douglas; sisters, Lois (Paul) Moorhead and Loretta Heron; sister-in-law, Carol Grossman; brother, William (Linda) Mark; and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Grove City High School in 1950, Capital University in 1954, and Ohio State University Medical School in 1958. For the first nine years he practiced Obstetrics and delivered between 500 and 500 babies. In 2004 he was honored by Mount Carmel Medical Center with Physician of the Year Award. As a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, he was one of the driving forces of the Family Life Center addition. The family would like to thank Ruth Roberts, a former nurse of his, for her loving support. Also, the family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice for making his final days comfortable for him and his family. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Odyssey Hospice or The Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where the funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday with Rev.
