

Edwin “Ted” Damron Poulton died March 9, 2015 after a long and happy life. Ted was born in Columbus, Ohio to Anne Damron Poulton and Edwin Homer Poulton on June 22, 1929. He graduated from Grandview High School, class of 1947 and attended the Ohio State University. After serving in the United States Army, he returned home and joined the family business, the Edwin Poulton Foundry Company, and was the third generation to head the business. Ted is survived by his loving wife, Martha Reilly Poulton; children Jennifer and Leo Rose III, grandchildren Elizabeth and Leo Rose IV of Atlanta, Georgia; Edwin and Shelly Cameron Poulton of Briarcliff Manor, New York, grandchildren Edwin “Ted” Poulton of Chicago, Illinois and Nicholas Poulton of Briarcliff Manor, New York; and Christopher and Elizabeth Purdy Poulton, grandchildren Reilly, Jane and John Poulton of Lexington, Kentucky; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Clara Reilly Ireland, Sara Reilly Rau, and Robert Rau; nephews and nieces Douglas Miller, Barbara Miller Arnold, William Miller, Robert Rau, Amy Rau Sugar, Kathryn Ireland Conley, John Ireland, and William Ireland; and cousins Charles Davis, Richard Wood, Sr., Richard Wood, Jr., Deborah McNeal Wood, David Wood, Rebecca Brown Wood, Susan Wood Aumiller, and Robert Aumiller. Ted was active in his community, and belonged to the Upper Arlington Rotary, the American Foundry Society, and First Community Church. Memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd. Rev. James Long, officiating. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL.
