Elayne P. Siegler

She was born August 1, 1941 at Fort Bragg, NC to the late Dr. D. Paul and Marie Ward; also preceded in death by her brother David Ward. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, George R., with whom she enjoyed 54 years of marriage. Elayne attended Miami University of Ohio and was a first grade teacher in Cincinnati. She enjoyed playing trombone for the Rockwell International Band and enjoyed a great deal of satisfaction as the office manager for Rabbi Stafski at Beth Jacob Synagogue.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children: Pamela Siegler, George (Erin) Siegler, Cindy (Tony) Perry, and Doug Siegler; her brother Lee (Lucy) Ward, as well as her five granddaughters. She never shared the green M&Ms with any of them.

Family will welcome friends from 2-4pm Monday, January 22, 2018 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230, (614) 939-4558 where services will begin at 4pm. Burial will be held at Webster Township Cemetery, 17771 State Route 199, Pemberville, OH 43450, at 11:30am Tuesday.
