

Mrs. Cunningham passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). She was born December 7, 1937 in Holmes County, Ohio to the late Paul Harley and Evelyn Irene (Horn) Christopher.
Mrs. Cunningham was employed for over 15 years at Lawson’s/Dairy Mart. She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards and was considered to be the luckiest in the family when scratching off lottery tickets.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa K. (Tom) Melrose of Newark; two sons, Robert M. Cunningham of Newark and Rick (Kathy) Cunningham of Tennessee; two step-sons, Garry (Linda) Cunningham of Washington and Michael (Kim) Cunningham of Heath; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Cunningham, on March 26, 2006; and by two sisters, Betty Christopher and Mary Schonauer.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.
