

Elizabeth M. Hague age 86 passed away Monday, March 6, 2017. She was born January 8, 1931 in Akron, Ohio, she attended Akron University, was a Certified Professional Secretary, member of Jaycee Wives and organized sending packages to Vietnam soldiers during the Vietnam War, organized their baby sitting clinic, member of the National Secretaries of America, won Secretary of the year in 1981, worked for several companies including the Liebert Corp where she retired from after 16 years of service, she was a red hatter, member of the circle of grandparents, and International Coffee Hour (INCH) where she was a tutor of advanced ESL Classes, she was a guide and interpreter at the Ohio Historical Society Museum, introduced into the Ohio Seniors Hall of Fame for being a pioneer of the circle of grandparents group. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Maria Paparella; sister, Caroline Conte. She is survived by her loving husband, Denver Hague of 63 years; son, Daniel (Leslie) Hague; grandchildren, Victoria (Damian) Bartholomew,
Dylan Hague; niece and nephews, Mary (Don) Conte Morefield, Joseph (Cathy) Conte, Dolores Conte Clay, and David Conte. A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held Sunday March 12, 2017 from 2pm-5pm at the Ohio State University Golf Club, 3605 Tremont Rd, Columbus, OH 43221. In her memory donations may be made to The Ohio History Connection, 800 E 17th Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43211. Family has entrusted SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL with final arrangements.
