Elizabeth Hann

Elizabeth (Olivere) Hann, age 87, of Upper Arlington, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Elizabeth was born on July 25, 1922 in Columbus; she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Diega Olivere. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Edward Hann; daughter, Dorothy Marie Hann; brothers, James, Tony, Alfred and Samuel Olivere; sisters, Kathrine Parnell, Dominica Piccinini and Helen Penzone; sisters-in-law, Joanne Hann, Bea, Bess, Helen and Helen Marie Olivere; brothers-in-law, Albert D’Andrea, William Hann and Costante Piccinini. Elizabeth is survived by her loving daughter, Shirley (William) Merrick; grandsons, William (Joyce), David, Christopher (Melissa); great grandchildren, Ashley, AJ, Andrick, Ashley Nicole, Alec and Jamie; brother-in-law, Tony P. Penzone; sisters-in-law, Dorothy D’Andrea and Shirley Hann; dearest friends, Josephine Fortin, John Fortin, Betty Williams and Catherine Rogers; along with many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was a long time member at St. Francis Church, and was involved in their Senior Citizens Club. She spent 15 years working for Beasley Industries; but her true job and calling was a mother and caregiver for her family. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221.
