Ellen L. Martin, age 81, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, OH. She was born in Henning, TN on June 10, 1933 to Anna Parker and Willie Taylor. Ellen retired from Lutheran Senior City after 44 years of dedicated services as a nurse's aide. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Frank E. Martin. Ellen is survived by her children, Darryl (Debbie) Martin, Marcus J. (Julie) Martin and Heather Martin; grandchildren, Marcus A. Martin, Alexis Martin, and Brandon Martin; great-granddaughter, Chloe M. Martin; siblings, Tamara Turner, William E. Taylor, Mattie Taylor, Lesa Dae, Linda, Roy Taylor, Lanna, Emma, Raymond Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral service will be held 12 noon Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Schoedinger Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH 43224, where the family will receive friends from 10 am until 12pm. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
