Elliott Michael Tipton

TIPTON - Elliott Michael, 43, went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2021. Born on September 13, 1977 in Syracuse, New York, beloved son of Russell Charles and Judy Ann (Bloom) Tipton. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents Ervin "Bud" and Lois (Varner) Bloom and paternal grandparents Charles R. and Pauline (Schaller) Tipton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his cherished fiancée, Laura Conner, his sister, Vanessa, with whom he was very close, and her husband, Ryan Fowler, a long time friend of Elliott's. He adored his young nephew and niece, Lincoln and Alyssa, who called him Unc-cool-cool Elliott and they said he was their best friend. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and a myriad of friends, including his best buddies Andrew, Chad, and Donny, and Jamiann Voshel who was like a sister to him. Elliott was a graduate of Wheeling Park High School, Wheeling, West Virginia, and West Liberty University in West Liberty, West Virginia. He worked in the mortgage industry and was employed by Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation in Columbus, Ohio. He was an excellent tennis player and was on both his high school and college teams. He was preparing to play tennis when he suffered sudden cardiac arrest. Elliott enjoyed other sports in addition to tennis and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. At Christmas, he enjoyed playing Santa Claus for the children of friends who thought he was the real deal. He also had a deep, booming voice and could do justice to the song, "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch". Elliott was a very loving, kind person and he never met a stranger. He gave great hugs. He will be greatly missed.
