Elmer E. Chapman

Elmer E. Chapman, age 50, passed away on 01/06/2022. He was an amazing and beloved father and grandfather. His grandchildren called him "Paw Paw". He would take in any kid as his own and try to help them to the best of his abilities. That's just the kind of man he was. He would always help and be kind. His grandchildren were Carter, Summer, Savannah, Audrina, Riley, and Rowan. He loved them all so much and would watch them throughout the week and he loved doing it. His sons were Dillon Chapman and Bryson Chapman, and his stepsons and stepdaughter were Zack Ford, Tyler Ford, Izayah Swinehart, and Samantha Spring. His mother's name was Pearl Chapman, and his father's name was Charles Chapman. He also had many siblings back home in West Virginia. He had family back home in West Virginia that he also loved very much. Everyone that Elmer met became his friend almost immediately, even some people whom it seemed impossible to make friends with. Elmer found a way by just being himself. He was an incredibly hard worker and worked at Yenkin-Majestic for 25 years. He is loved so deeply and will be missed by everyone that he has met. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at HEART AND HOPE BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday. January 19, 2022 at 11:00AM AT Grove City Cemetery-West, 4399 Grove City Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
