Eric Allen Binns

Eric A. Binns, 57, passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2021 at home following an ever-constant battle with Diabetes. He was born October 15, 1963 to Eleanor (Moore) and Tom Binns and was a proud Gahanna resident all his life. Eric graduated from Gahanna-Lincoln High School, Class of '82 and Ohio University in 1986. He spent many years working at Limited Brands as an IT manager and maintained lasting friendships with his co-workers. Eric worked tirelessly in his yard and home and was constantly planning his next project.

In addition to his parents, Eric leaves behind his beloved wife, Elizabeth, who brought unforeseen sunshine into his life; his sons, Zak and Kyle, who made him very proud; his beloved sister Lisa; stepchildren Maria (Andre) Robinson and Alex (Laurel) Gerhard; cherished granddaughter Cecilia "Cece" Robinson; aunts and uncles: Barbara and Beck Lintner, Becky and Terry Ulm, Harold and Polly Moore; numerous cousins; mother and father-in-law Bonnie and Bob Plummer as well as Elizabeth's siblings, Polly (Mark), Linda (Jay), Mike (Ruth) and Katie and their families.

Eric's memorial service will be held at 3pm Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Rd., Gahanna. The service will be available for viewing at www.Schoedinger.com and https://youtu.be/dVA6oNAFAy0. All are welcome to drop in at Eric and Elizabeth's home from 5-8pm on Wednesday where the celebration of his life will continue.

Eric has been reunited with his best friend "Bo" and in honor of this very special rescue dog, family is requesting that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to "Second Shot" using the following link: .
