Eric Reasoner

Eric Adam Reasoner passed away peacefully on January 11, 2022, at Grant Medical Center. He was 64 years old. Eric was born on September 17, 1957, to Robert and Yvonne Reasoner in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He was a 1975 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. He later moved to Columbus, where he lived the remainder of his life.

Eric enjoyed a successful career as an executive administrative assistant at the Ohio State University Admissions Office. He also loved spending time with family and friends while offering his time as a well-respected Senior Warden of his church, St. James Episcopal Church. Eric was also a lover of the piano and music in general. He had a passion for vintage cameras and photography.

In addition to his parents, Eric was preceded in death by his nephew, Jon Reasoner.

He is survived by his long-time partner Terry valentine; son Brian (Julie) Reasoner; brother Mark Reasoner, sister Renee Halton; six nieces and nephews, Nathan Hill, Brandon Hill, Rob (Meghan) Reasoner, Katy Hill, and Alex Augenstein; and two grandchildren, Aidan and Avery Reasoner.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 18 at 12pm, with an hour of visiting time from 11 to 12pm, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eric's name to the St. James Episcopal Church, 3400 Calumet St., Columbus, 43214.
