Ernest Edward "Ernie" Lowe

Ernest Edward “Ernie” Lowe, 67 of Columbus, OH, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 1, 2010. He was born January 6, 1943 in Richlands, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Floyd Lowe; sisters, Ruth Davidson and Evelyn Nutt. Ernie leaves behind the love of his life, Judy, wife of 47 years; son, Ernie (Becky) Lowe, Jr., daughter, Billie Jo “BJ” Lowe; grandchildren, T’Shawn, T’Sani, and Tra Draughon, and Gabriela and Olivia Lowe; brother, Thurman Eugene (Louise) Lowe; sister, Hazel Hess; uncle, Ed Asbury; aunt, Juanita Stevens; lots of nieces, nephews and cousins; and best friend, Mark Stewart. Ernie is retired from City of Columbus Sewer and Maintenance Dept. As Mechanic Heavy II and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Ernie was very well liked by everyone he met. Funeral service will be held at 11:30am Friday, November 5, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH, where family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8pm.
