Eugene H. “Gene” Freck, age 78, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011. He was born to the late Claude and Anna Freck on January 19, 1933 in Mahanoy, PA. Gene was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed spending time with family and playing Bingo. In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Freck; siblings, Anna Salem and Claude Freck. He is survived by his loving children, Eugene (Sue) Freck Jr., Dovie (Jim) Keyser, Brenda (Kevin Colburn) Gipson, and Jerry (Tammy) Freck; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL 5360 E. Livingston Ave. where the funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, November 17, 2011 .
