Evelyn Jane Barrett

Evelyn Jane Barrett loving wife, mother and grandmother died at age 93, on March 23 2013 at Country Meadows in York Pa. Evelyn was an active member of 9th St. Baptist Church in Cincinnati where she met her husband Bill Barrett. Loving and being with family was one of her greatest pleasures. She was a gifted homemaker, seamstress and cross-stitcher. She and her husband, Bill loved to travel and enjoyed many happy winters in Clearwater Florida. In Columbus they both belonged to Lane Avenue Baptist Church (now Crossing Community Church). She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Yost and her husband of 59 years, Bill Barrett. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Joyce Barrett Jacobs; Nancy Denner, husband, John; Arthur Barrett, wife, Sandy; and her grandchildren Jennifer Jacobs; Ryan Denner, wife, Alison; Amanda Denner, fiancé, Steven Molchanow; David Denner; Joshua Barrett; Justin Barrett and Nathan Barrett. A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Sunset Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, Ohio with Pastor Wayne Nicholson officiating.
