

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Evelyn V. Zarzano, {Brofford} who left us on December 13, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on February 24, 1935, in [Columbus, Ohio], Evelyn lived a full life, touched by love, kindness, and dedication to her family and friends.
Evelyn was a beloved mother, grandma, great grandma and friend. She is survived by [list family members: Teresa Zarzano, {daughter} Pete Zarzano, {son}, grandchildren: Erin Maynard { great grands} Jordan Inks, Coalton Maynard and Ayslie Maynard} Angelina Zarzano-Cooper (Eric), (greats grands)Nico, Meadow and Gigi Cooper ], and her beloved dog Mary Belle who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Mary Belle Brofford (Turner), Arthur W. Brofford, brother and Mary Frances Kiser, sister.
Throughout her life, Evelyn was the matriarch of the family. In her younger days she loved to have the family over for Sunday dinners where countless memories were made. She was the heart of the family; she was the strength and support. Evelyn graduated from West High School, class of 1953 and served on the Alumni committee. She retired from American Electric Power and was an avid golf player and loved to go to the casino. Spending time with her great grandchildren brought her the most joy! She made an impact on the lives of many who knew her. Her love and wisdom will be missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched
A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held in February on her 90th birthday by invitation.
May Evelyn rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
