Everett H. Brooks, age 77, died January 7, 2010. He was born in Piketon, Ohio on March 13, 1932 to Joseph and Mabel Brooks. Everett served in the Army National Guard and was a member of AmVets #2256. He is preceded in death by his parents; children; Jack Brooks, and Cynthia Sue Farley; 3 sisters; and 1 brother. Everett is survived by his wife, Carolyn; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Lois Bivens; and many nieces, nephews and other family. Family will receive friends from 1-6 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 11, 2010 at the funeral home.
