Florence Anderson

Florence Marcum Anderson, age 82, of Galena, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010. She was born December 26, 1927 in Webb, WV. Florence moved to Columbus when she was 15, and began working at Mills Restaurant. She later met and married her love and life partner of 62 years, William Francis Anderson. Together, they raised their family of children, Michael (Brenda) Anderson, Thea “Theresa” (Jeff) Cesner, Patrick “Terry” (Judy) Anderson, and Peter (Lisa) Anderson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia (Herrold) Hayes; brother, Albert (Brenda) Hannah; and numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, William and Molly Marcum; twin brother, William “Buddy” Marcum; sister, Lula Phillips; and numerous other brothers and sisters. Funeral services 1pm Monday, January 25, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (Just South of I-270), where family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5pm.
