Florence E. Butler

Born in Newark, Ohio on October 8, 1935, to the late Paul T. and Florence (Favill) Winters.

Florence’s life was her grandchildren and her pets. Watching cartoons (Scooby Doo) or the Food Network with her grand children or with anyone else, who cared to watch with her, was one of her favorite things to do. Doting on her family, especially her great grandson Quentin was her passion.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her children; Theodore Hartman of Newark, David Butler (Glenda) of Texas, Tina Poss of Texas, Lisa Butler of Columbus, Faye Trott, of Lancaster, Leslie Butler (Edith) of Lancaster; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister Patricia Arnett of Newark.

Along with her parents Florence is preceded in death by sister Lucille Groff, and brother Paul Winters Jr.

Funeral services will be private at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Criss Schoedinger Funeral Home 179 Granville St. Newark Ohio.
