Florine "Flo" Bowling, age 79, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. She was born July 7, 1937 in Martinsville, Ohio to the late Elmer and Nellie Sothard and is also preceded in death by eight sisters and four brothers. Flo grew up and went to school in Grove City. She had an outgoing personality and enjoyed Bingo and Bowling. She never met a stranger! Flo is survived by her husband of 61 years, Francis Bowling; children, Cynthia Rinehart, Mark (Teri) Bowling, Terry (John) Newman, Connie (Mike) Barnette, Wally (Dawn) Bowling, and Loretta (Scott) Burns; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and pets, Taco and Ki Ki. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City where the Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery. Contributions in Flo's memory may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice.
