Frances Elizabeth Burks

She was born February 1, 1915 in Upton, Kentucky. Elizabeth was a Norwood resident for 58 years where she was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Ann Burks; parents, Edmund and Blanche Stuebing; sisters, Alice Mae Bowles, Edna Ellis Cave, and Henrietta Andress; and brother, Fred Stuebing.

Elizabeth was a beloved wife and mother and will be missed by her husband of 75 years, Clifford E. Burks; daughter, Emily (Bruce) Fraher, Dublin; granddaughters, Elisa (Scott) Belck and Sarah (Jason) Zook; great-grandchildren, Jack and Nick Belck and Talon Zook; sister, Helen Bowles Brackett, Richmond, Kentucky; nieces, nephews, and extended family including Louise, Amber, Ashley, Jim, and Jeanie; and dear friend, Isabel Hall.

Memorial service at Grace United Methodist Church will be held at a later date. Burial in Upton, Kentucky, Elizabeth’s birthplace.
