Frances Pauline Harmer

Frances Pauline Harmer, 95, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. She was born and raised in New Concord, Ohio to the late Charles and Ethel Downey. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, whom she had met at Ohio State, Richard; siblings Verna Shaw, Eloise Thomas, Robert Downey, and Harold Downey; children Stephen and Rosemary Harmer; and her grandson Randy Harmer. Pauline is survived by her children Doug (Laurie) Harmer, David (Heidi) Harmer, Luanne (Greg) Hacker, Paula (David) Lindsey and Lisa (Gary) Kennedy; grandchildren Brooke, Brian, Matthew, Janna, Leigh, Darron, Bryce, Tyler, Madison, and Rob; great grandchildren Natalie, Miles, Aidan, Charlie Mae, Lucas, Nathan, Jordan, Emily, Wyatt, Madison, Gabriel, Mia, Emma, Abigail, and Layla; sister, Mary (Ray) Gillespie; and brother-in-law, John Harmer. Pauline was a loving, hardworking and devoted mother at home. She cared for her children and served her husband all of her life. Her greatest loves were her family and the Lord. Arrangements were entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229 where a visitation will take place on September 28, 2018 from 10:30-11:30am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30. Interment will be at Kingwood Memorial Park.
