Frank Denver Bowers

Denver Bowers , 41 of Lebanon, TN and recently of Grove City, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, August 10, 2018 surrounded by his family and friends at a much too young of age. He was a loving and caring father, son and friend to many and will be missed by all. Denver is preceded in death by his grandparents, Denver and Adelee Bowers and Frank and Wilma Killough. He is survived by the loves of his life, his adorable children, Annabelle and Luke Bowers of Lebanon, TN, his father, Dr. Bob (Debby) Bowers of Dublin, OH, mother, Sherry Bowers of Grove City, OH, brother, Judd (Kate) Bowers, nephews and niece, Quinn, Keegan and Keira of Chicago, IL, stepsister, Kathleen (Tim) Kincer, nephew, Emmett Kincer of Oak Park, IL., stepbrother, Drew Lytle of San Francisco, CA, special cousin Aaron (Marsha) Carver of Morganton, NC, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins on his father's side of the family. Denver was born in North Carolina and raised in Grove City, Ohio. He is a graduate from Grove City High School where he played baseball and basketball and from Miami University where he played baseball for four years. As an adult, he worked for a number of years as a search consultant and in insurance before staying at home to help raise his two children with Jennifer Templeton Bowers. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Mt. Carmel West's Intensive Critical Care Unit for their expert and compassionate care. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, August 14 at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 11:00 a.m., with visitation an hour prior, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1735 Bethel Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220.
