Frederick William Graessle

Frederick William Graessle Sr., 65, Husband, Father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, son and friend, born March 7th, 1946, passed away on Tuesday March 6,2012. He has joined his father James Graessle; brother, Richard Graessle, many beloved family members and friends that have preceded him in death. Fred’s love for bass fishing and golf brought him great joy and many lifelong friends. His large extended family included not only all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, but those lifelong fishing and golf buddies as well as his many friends from Honda where he retired in 2008. Fred served on the USS Saratoga CVA60 in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Graessle; son, Frederick, Jr. (Jana); mother, Marie Graessle; brother, Donald (Carol) Graessle; sister Julie (Mark) Kibble; sister-in-law, MaryAnn Graessle; 4 granddaughters, Hiedi, Ashley, Kaitlyn and Brittany; 2 great grandsons, Kayden and Cameron; many brothers and sisters in-laws; his aunt and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, March 9, 2012 from 5-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, March 10, 2012. Interment to follow the service at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
