Gary J. Fisher, age 69, of Bloomfield Hills, passed away at his son’s home on Thursday, June 7, 2018 after a brief illness. Father of Jeff (Vicki) and Scott Fisher; grandfather of Lindsey, Jacob, Betsey, Peyton, Melanie, Mitchell and Reece and brother of David of Phoenix, AZ. Preceded in death by parents Alger and Eleanor (Schubel) Fisher, wife Marilyn and granddaughter Courtney.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on December 6, 1948, Gary graduated from Fraser High School, joined the Army Reserves and married his high school sweetheart Marilyn on October 18th, 1969. Gary spent the next 40 years as plumber and member of the Local 98 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union.
Gary’s life will be celebrated with a traditional wake at Duffy’s Pub, 3320 Auburn Rd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326 on June 18th from 4-7 PM.
