Gary Williams

Gary was born August 11, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa to Sylvia and Bud Williams of Stuart, Iowa. Hard work, fun, and dedication were the core values instilled upon him in his early years, and Gary carried these throughout his life.

After graduating from Stuart High School and the University of Iowa, Gary became the President of both the Chemical and Industrial sectors of DHL/Exel Logistics. In 1997 he married the love of his life, Mandi Williams. He was an active member of The Lakes Golf and Country Club in Westerville, Ohio and enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels.

Gary was larger than life, he was The Hulk, he was the problem solver, he was the life of the party, and he was the best friend anyone could ask for.

He is survived by his wife, Mandi, his children Jason, Stevie, and Jessie, and his grandchildren Aidan, Bowie, and Perry.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 10th, 2021, at 5 x 80 Golf and Country Club, 1086 IA-25, Menlo IA, 50164 from 1:30PM until 4:00PM. A second Celebration of Life will be held on July 31, 2021, from 3PM until 6PM at the Lakes Golf and Country Club, 6740 Worthington Road, Westerville OH, 43082.
