Gaylord E. Gardner

Gaylord served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Mechanical Services, Inc. where he was an HVAC Service Engineer. Gaylord was a member of the Fishinger & Kenny Rd. Church of Christ and also a member of the Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Local #189. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a well-respected, kind and gentle man who was loved by all.

Preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Maude Gardner; and sister, Betty Fox. Gaylord will be missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary; children, Marla (Larry) Dayton, Gaylord E. Gardner, Jr., Dana (Roy) Ebie, Brenda (Randy) Truman, and Carol (Paul) Gartman; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Veda Kinegge.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, December, 12, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Fishinger & Kenny Rd. Church of Christ, 1130 Fishinger Rd., Columbus, OH, where family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service, Mr. Gene Carrell, officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
