

Geneva L. Wolfel, age 85, passed away at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. She was born in Worthington, Ohio on January 29, 1936, a daughter of the late Millard and Rosie (Depriest) Reaper. She loved the Lord and made friends with everyone she met, especially her fellow residents at Tuscany Gardens with a hearty "Amen". She faithfully read her Bible, watched Christian television, and sang along to Christian music. She loved all animals and adored her beloved grandbabies. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Harold (Betty) Wolfel, Beverly Flaig (Martin Evans), Diana (Teddy) Spence, Gerald (Kathy) Wolfel, Tom (Kim) Wolfel, and Mike (Carla) Wolfel; beloved grandchildren, Larry, Donna, Wendy (Ray), Matt (Bobbie), Kristina (Michael), Amanda (Ryan), Aaron (Reesa), Sharon, Rose, Jeffrey (Chloe), Megan (Mark), Michelle, Brandon (Beth), Nick (Tana) and Zach (Kelli) and 26 adored great- grandchildren. Also survived by a sister, Joann Reed and several nieces and nephews and other relatives. Besides her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband Harold W. Wolfel and brothers, Melvin, Les and June Reaper and sisters, Shirley and Carolyn. Family and friends may call from 6-8 pm Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232, where funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, July 15, 2021. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
