George William Barthlow Sr., age 75, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012. He was born October 6, 1936 in Bellaire Ohio to the late William and Adalina Barthlow; also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Harriett and Alvy Pittman. George graduated from Bellaire High School and served in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He enjoyed martial arts and collecting electronics and glassware. He is survived by his children, George Barthlow, Jr., Media Carpenter (fiancé Glen), Mike Vincent, Melissa Vincent, Kenneth (Teresa) Vincent; 7 Foster Children; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 2-4 pm Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 with cremation to follow.
