

George Arlin Pack Sr., age 77, died December 2, 2012. He was born March 6, 1935 in Wayne, West Virginia to the late George & Tokie Pack. He was a graduate of Mark Twain H.S. and proud U.S. Army Veteran where he earned the marksman/rifleman award. George was also a member of the Local 98 United Sheet Metal Union. He loved to spend time with his buddies hunting for squirrels, and taking his pride and joy, a 1937 Ford V8, to car shows. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Ray Pack, and sisters, Vickie Duncan and Vena Baxter. He is survived by his loving wife, of 51 years, Jenny; son, George Pack; daughter; Patty (Bob) Spillman; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roger (Jeri) Pack Sr., Larry (Shirley) Pack, and Bobby (Lana) Pack; sisters, Sue Payne and Dolores (Al) Ruble; and hunting buddies, Steve Soltes, Gary “Buck” Soltes and Roger. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday.
