After graduating from Linden McKinley High School in 1956, he married his high school sweetheart and they were married for 50 years until her passing in 2007.
He was proud of his 40+ year career with American Electric Power, formerly known as Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Clara Frey, his wife, Susan Ann (Woodruff) Frey, and brothers, Stan and John Frey. He is survived by two daughters, Katherine Hagmeier and Kris (Paul) Smith; and 3 grandchildren; Emily and Andrew Hagmeier and Carly Smith.
Ted enjoyed maintaining his home and car, his many DIY projects and gardening. The family would like to thank the staffs of Fresenius Kidney Care-New Albany and Comfort Keepers for their kind assistance and care.
