Gerald Allan Salters

Gerald (Gary) Allan Salters, age 76 of Westerville, Ohio went to be with Lord on February 14, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Moira Salters; daughter, Karen (Andy) Neal; son, Gary W. Salters; stepchildren, Brittnay (Ryan) Ridenbaugh and Aaron Cool; grandchildren, Avery Neal, Madison (Odom) Stagg, Machaela Neal, Ian Salters, Paul Salters and Olivia Salters. Gary served in the United States Army. He was a 37-year employee of McGraw-Hill Publishing and retired as a Senior Vice-President of Distribution. Achieving 3 Hole-in-ones in an 18 month period, Gary was an avid and passionate golfer, but his greatest joy was the grandchildren whom he loved dearly and spoke of often. Loved and respected by many, Gary will be remembered for his generous spirit and contagious smile. We will celebrate his life and the lives he touched on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at The Medallion Club, 5000 Club Dr. Westerville, Ohio 43082. (Open house 1:00pm-5:00pm). In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to contribute to your local food bank or charity of your choice in Gary's name. Arrangements have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME.
