Glenn P. Henry passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 24, 2024. He was 70 years old. A lifelong resident of Columbus, Glenn was born “Baby Boy Henry” on February 27, 1954, and several days later was finally given his proper name.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Henry and his sister, Peggy Henry (DeRosa).
Glenn is survived by Jeremy Wilkinson, James DeRosa (Amy), Amy Douglas (Frank), Anthony DeRosa (Chanelle), Justin DeRosa (Mindy), 10 great-nieces and nephews, a great-great-niece, and countless friends who are more like family.
He retired after more than 25 years of service at the Columbus Police Department Records Division.
His gift for bringing together friends to create a chosen family, based on laughter and friendship, created a legacy that everyone who knew him will deeply miss.
