Gloria Louise (Czich) Rankin, age 93, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Nov. 8, 2024. She was born on Aug. 18, 1931 in Canton, Ohio to the late Carl and Mary (Stropky) Quayle. Gloria joins in death her parents; husbands John Czich and Carl Rankin and sons-in-law Jim Huebner and George Liniman. She leaves behind her children Karen Liniman, Anna Marie (Ken) Tate, Terri Huebner and John (Lorrie) (great granddaughter Rosie) Czich; grandchildren Matt (Catherine) Anderson, Amber (Chris Stuck) Allensworth and Courtney (Mike) Houts; great grandchildren Maddison, Taylor and Luke Anderson.
Gloria was a creative person and enjoyed making and painting ceramics, quilting and knitting. She was a collector, had a green thumb and was a wonderful cook. She was a cat lover and always happily accepting a strong cup of coffee and some pretzels to snack on. She will be missed dearly by many.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Gloria’s name to the American Kidney Foundation,11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852. Burial will take place in New Philadelphia, Ohio at Calvary Cemetery.
