

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by, his loving wife of 50 years, Ann Burke. He is survived by, sons Christopher Burke and Craig (Carrie) Burke, and granddaughter RuthAnn; sister,
Rosemary Katafiasz; brother Garry Burke, and numerous nieces and nephews, along with many other dear family and friends.
Gordon was a proud graduate of Xavier University and went on to build a long and successful career in accounting, dedicating 34 years to DSCC. A man of deep faith, he was an active member of St. Pius X Parish. He also served with honor in the Knights of Columbus, achieving the rank of 4th Degree Knight and 3rd Degree Brother.
In his free time, Gordon was a passionate chess player who enjoyed competing in tournaments. He also had a love for reading, collecting coins, playing the clarinet, and following a wide variety of sports.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 4-7PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 10:30AM at St Pius X Catholic Church, 1051 S Waggoner Rd, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
