Harold Loren Baird

Harold "Lorenie" Baird, age 78 passed away Saturday July 23, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents; Harold Luther and Pearl Ann (Williams) Baird. Lorenie is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruth, sons; Harold (Lois) Jr., Keith, Tracey (Diana), Stacey (Michelle), grandchildren; Andrea (Joey), Tyler, Alexandra (Brad), Trace (Kaite), Ashton, Mariah (Will), Abigail, Caleb, Emilee, Keaton, Rachel, great grandchildren; Remmington, Bryce, Brendon, Jonah, Gabriel, Estelle, sisters; Shirley Ann Champ, Pearl "Jackie" Williams. He was a hardworking man and worked 2 full time jobs for 20 years. He worked for Westinghouse for 30 years, Sears for 20 years, and drove a school bus for the Columbus Public Schools for 5 years. Lorenie loved to play cards at the YMCA every Monday, he was also a fan of OSU football and watching his grandkids play football at Westfall. He also enjoyed sitting in his front yard waving at the cars that went by the house. A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 27, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway where funeral service will be held on Thursday July 28, 2016 at 10 am with Pastor Mark Diemer officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Cemetery.
