

Harold Edward Baker, age 90, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 29, 1925 to the late Elmer and Pauline Baker. He was a 1943 graduate of Rossford High School and was a member of the Boy Scouts. Harold served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a part of the Helldivers Squadron. He was the owner and operator of Reliable Advertising alongside his son, Don. Harold was a member of Reynoldsburg #340 Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Aladdin Temple Shrine. He was also a member of the Naval Air Association and the VFW. Harold was a skilled woodworker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl and Bob; sister, Ruth; and nephew, Gary. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Dorothy Mae Baker; sons, Brad, Don, and John Baker; daughter, Paula (Avery) Davidovich; grandchildren, Julie and Chris Baker, Alex and Max Davidovich, and Andrew, Mike, and Arie Baker; great grandchildren, Hannah, Natalie, Chase, Ethan, and Brendon; nephews, Russell and Bobby; and niece, Judy. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 1:00PM with visitation one hour prior at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232. Interment with military honors will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
