

A family service will be held at a later date for Harry L. “Terry” Brown, 64, of Newark. Terry was born in Newark, Ohio on January 25, 1949 to the late Willis E. and Florence (Shaw) Brown. He passed away at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio on July 29, 2013.
Terry was an auto mechanic, working many years at WOW Car Co. He enjoyed working on cars and lawn mowers, also enjoyed riding his bicycle, going to festivals and car shows.
Survivors include his children, Candy (James) Brown, Tara L. (Joey) VanAllen and Terry Lee Brown Jr.; granddaughter, Clarissa VanAllen; brothers, Dave (Ronda) Brown and Ricky (Brenda) Brown; and nephew, Ricky Brown and a numerous friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, John and Robert Brown; and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Paul Hess.
