

Hattie Artrip Hunter, age 93, of Grove City, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2011. An independent and confident woman, Hattie worked hard all of her life and retired from North American Rockwell after many years of service. She will always be remembered for her love of gardening and the enjoyment she found in feeding the birds. She was a great cook and especially enjoyed Christmas time. She was grateful every day for her little dog, Toby and was especially proud of her family: daughters, Nancy (Gee) Fuller; Barbara “Bobby” (Don) Miller and Elizabeth “Tootie” (Rich) Clipner; grandchildren, Kathy (Randy) Longshore, Sheila Micholes, Gee, Jr. (Teresa) Fuller, Teresa (Gary) Sparks, Jesse (Chris) Fuller, Chris (Mary) Miller, Terrie Miller, Lisa Clipner and Tammy (Rob) Ringhiser; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Sturgill of Sunbury, OH; many caring nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Hattie was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Fletcher Hunter, in 2001; parents, Nellie and Lorenzo Dow Artrip; brothers, Guy, Garnet, Earl and Ralph; sisters, Mae, Elizabeth, Margie, Beulah and 3 infant siblings; also, great-great-grandson, Evan Dell. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 E. Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where services will be held at 1pm Friday; Pastor Leonard Tippie, officiating; interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
