Lit a candle in memory of Hazel Naomi Burns

We miss you....you brought us so much joy & laughter!  I am so sorry we couldn't do more to get you home where you wanted to be and they let you waste away to nothing in that nursing home.....I will always believe that if you had been at home you would still be with us today. To the Burns family, I am so very sorry to hear about Hazel. She was such a kind and loving person. She always greeted me with a smile and a fresh cup of coffee. She actually got me hooked of Folgers instant! I was a volunteer for Hospice with your father Carl and got to know your family. You all were very welcoming every time I came. What a smile your dad must have on his face to be reunited with the lovely Hazel. My thoughts and prayers are with you, God bless, sincerely, Therese Kirchgessner, Amanda.

To the Burns family:  I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother.  She was a very nice lady.  I lived across the street from her from the time I was 5 to the time I was 15.  She always waved to me when I would be outside twirling my baton.  Our sympathy and prayers go out to you in this time of loss.

Danny, I often think back to those days of playing whiffle ball in your driveway(40 years ago). We would play for hours and hours and your mom was always there making sure  we ate and had something to drink. She always made me feel so welcome. We are sadden to hear of the passing of Mrs. Burns.  She was such a sweet lady, who  enjoyed the company of family and friends so much.  Our sympathy goes out to the family.

Grandma, I will never forget all the memories we shared together, the fun summer trips w/ you and Mary, the times setting on the porch talking and laughing, and cant forget all those games of 500 rummy!
