Helen Marie West

Helen Marie West, 74, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021. She was born March 2, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Audrey (Slay) Watts. She was a graduate of North High School. Helen worked for Sears Logistics for over 20 years. Her family was important to her and she cherished the time that she was able to spend together. She loved to shop, especially shopping and purchasing things from QVC. Because she received a delivery almost every day, there was always a gift available for anyone at any moment or in case she needed a back up of something. It was no secret to anyone of where her collection of electric candles and love of different themed cats came from that filled each room. QVC gourmet holidays were her favorite, her fridge and freezer were never empty. Helen was very generous and giving. She never met a stranger. She had a great sense of humor and an unforgettable laugh. She was loved by all and will be missed by those that were closest to her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Carol Pyle and brother, Edward Watts. Helen is survived by her husband of 30 years, Paul David West; children, Donald Partlow, Jr., Laurie Thornton, Susan Partlow, Jonathan (Tenille) Partlow, Tina Papai, Sandra Rusnock, and Crystal West; grandchildren, Brittany, Jonathan, Jr., Eric, Annie, Jennifer, Trevor, Lyndzi, Madison, Jeffrey, Jr., Kaylee, Angelina, Auren, Xavier, Alana, and Ivan; siblings, Nancy, Theresa, Louise, Cathy, and Bill; beloved pets, Whiskers and Sparky; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Helen's favorite color was purple and her family invites everyone to wear purple to her visitation and funeral service. Interment Grove City Cemetery West.
